Smoke twisting phantasms in the sky

haze strip teases the half lidded moon

rust red on oleaginous black

breeze fetid 'neath oily stars

slow ripple on dark water

guileful and prideful and sinful and still

befouled breath of a thousand thousand hairless apes...


So begins the waning.
