Onward and outward

It's amazing the people you meet when you think you're incapable of meeting anyone.

So many years operating on previously enforced assumptions, and all that was required was a slight adjustment of attitude.

A dash of confidence,
a bit of cockiness,
brutal honesty,
nothing to lose,
and the will to actually tell people what I want.

This is shaping up to be an interesting phase in my life. And unlike other "interesting" phases, this one doesn't seem (at least at the outset) to be completely horrible.

Hope I survive it.
