New experience, sitting with someone in the emergency room waiting to have them committed.

I've been in plenty of emergency rooms over the years, but the white coats are a new addition.

But sometimes I guess folks need a bit of help.

And even though I understand this cognitively, I can't quite suppress the little maury povich monologue in the back of my head

thankful that it isn't me

and no matter how fucked I am, at least I'm not at that level.
