Rants and Poetry of a Tired and Angry Man.

Just what the title says, don't look for anything too profound or earthshaking.

Another week older...

Insult of the day: He's so stupid he thinks innuendo is a foreign suppository.

Todays Rant:
There are too damn many people. Every day the streets and shops and roads and sidewalks are more and more crowded. Wherever I look I see more unfamiliar faces, more congestion, more population pressure. I hear more noise, smell more soot and smog, see more garbage, and more evidence of a society out of control. Everything is covered in a thin film of oil, the water is undrinkable, the land is unable to support crops, and the air is thick and feted with the breath of the swollen masses.
I turn on the television and see some pasty inbreed telling me that it was "Gods will" that she overdose on fertility drugs and pump out a litter of 15. Sorry dear, if you were unable to pop one out without the drugs then it was Gods will that you not reproduce.
The infant mortality rate has dropped dramatically in this country over the last century, yet people still breed as if there were a shortage of people. My grandfather was the only one of 13 children to survive to adulthood, today at least 10 of his brothers and sisters would have also survived, without a farm to work, or a descent paying job to keep food on the table. Meanwhile costs increase, wages remain static, and resources dwindle. The boomer generation has poisoned the hearts and minds of this country, feeding people the belief that there is unlimited wealth and potential, if only we have the wherewithal to search it out.

9,000,000,000 people on the face of the earth, 290,000,000 in this country alone, 15,000,000 in this state, 50,000 in this county, 5,000 in the county seat, 150 in the nearest town, 35 on this hill, 1 in this apartment, and I still feel crowded.

If everyone is insane, then who did we just put in the padded room?

Question for the day: Where has all the cabbage gone?

Todays Rant:
I had some crazy blind woman in a Cadillac SUV try to kill me three times today. She ran me into the ditch three times on a half mile stretch of road, before forcing two other cars off the pavement and nearly flattening an elderly man in a crosswalk. I'm quite certain that she was behaving like this intentionally, just sort of makes me wonder why there is never a homicidal maniac around when you need one. Of course we all know that if anyone ever actually tried to defend themselves against the crazy homicidal blind woman in the Cadillac SUV, the media would call her "an innocent victim of road rage".

Paper people

There is an endless torrent of subliminal profanity,
it lurks just outside the waking consciousness,
just on the tip of everyone's tongue,
just at the edge of everyone's thoughts
just at the boundaries of control.
It is primal insanity,
the imp of the perverse,
the thing that separates us from the beasts.
All feel it though we try to deny it,
all know about it though we try to suppress it,
occasionally some even act on it, though they don't always understand why.

Yesterday a levy broke,
today a man added armor to his D-9 CAT and went tear assing through suburbia.
